Contributions of Professor Hirotugu Akaike: Statistical Modelling of Complex Systems

Professor Akaike made significant contributions in various fields of science. In this talk, I would like to introduce his work on time series analysis in both frequency domain and time domain, and their applications in optimal control of complex dynamic systems, Akaike information criterion (AIC) and Bayesian modelling.
