Ambit Fields and Turbulence

We discuss some potential applications of ambit processes and ambit fields to the modelling of the spatio-temporal dynamics of turbulent flows. Of key interest are the statistical properties of the turbulent velocity field and the behaviour of the energy dissipation process.
